KABUYE BIOGAS SOLAR DAIRY PLANT, RWANDA
Our latest project, implemented during 2017 is the Kabuye Village Dairy. The project components installed by Cypro (EA) Ltd include; construction of a 24 cubic metre biogas plant for pasteurizing and incubating milk for eventual transformation into fermented products; installation of a 4 kWh solar unit to run the refrigeration unit and offer lighting to the dairy and cowshed; installation of a village dairy milk pasteurizer and incubator, and transfer of the technology through training and demonstration.

KAGOGO COWSHED BIOGAS PROJECT, RWANDA
During 2016, Cypro (EA) Ltd was invited by the
government of Rwanda to install a biogas project at Kagogo Cowshed in Kirehe
district of eastern province. The biogas generated is used for direct heating
and also for running a dual fuel engine that powers the water pump located 350
metres from the cowshed. The project is integrated with a solar unit for lighting, running electronic equipments (computers) and charging other electronics - lamps and cell phones.
RHINO PARK RD BIOGAS, KAREN
In 2011, Cypro EA installed the Rhino Park Road biogas project at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Murimi in Karen. The biogas here is used for pasteurizing milk and conversion into yoghurt. It is also used for baking. Mrs. MaryAnn Murimi is seen below in her dairy unit where she uses the biogas for manufacture of yoghurt.

LESTAN DAIRY FARM BIOGAS, RUIRU
In 2011, Cypro (EA) Ltd installed the Lestan Dairy
Farm biogas project in Ruiru. This has remained a demonstration unit for many, both in Kenya and from
other parts of the World. The biogas project at Lestan Dairy Farm is used for
motive power, running a dual fuel engine which in turn runs a fodder chopping
machine. The biogas is also used to run an engine that powers a milking machine. Pictures below show work during construction and also during the commissioning of the engine.

UNDERGROUND CONCRETE WATER STORAGE TANKS
